LOL. If you don't select anything how would the computer know what you are trying to do?But yeah, it would be great. IP: Logged |

Because the command would be to go back a pre-determined number of characters. For me it would be kind of inconsequential how many characters it went back, because my data entry text boxes are only so big. I typically only get 10 characters or less into writing in the wrong case before noticing and correcting. IP: Logged |

Yeah. I have a database that I enter data in. It's all CAPS. Then if I come here or something, I have to take the CAPS off to be more civilized. Then when I switch back to the database, and I'm doing things quickly, I'm looking at the documents I'm collecting data from as I type. When my eyes return to the screen I learn that I forgot to turn CAPS back on. I'd just like a button that takes care of that quickly.I would make masterful use of it. IP: Logged |

LOL!!!I think it would be huge if they did come out with such a button. I think people in jobs like ours would wonder how they ever got on without it. IP: Logged |

Delicate and simple; meditative; few effects (reverb, volume, delay); more complex when loud; sing from where you are; anyone sing; chime in; shine onThat's kind of the band situation I'd like to see. IP: Logged |

Yes, get on to the capital letters thang you two, that's a fabulous idea. I would use it for sure!I had an amazing idea for an astrology software package the other night. I mean a real Sun Conjunct Uranus in Libra trine Gemini moon trine Jupiter in Aquarius blockbuster of an idea. I would explain it to you but I don't know how. If I had a stack of paper, coloured pens and a whole afternoon I could, but in words, not a chance. IP: Logged |

Dislike button. Everyone is sick. Daycare is apparently a cesspool of germs and illness... Awesome. Too bad we humans like to touch each other so much. We're like vermin. Hope you're not getting sick! IP: Logged |

AGGGGGGG! I need your help! Although I would probably reach you faster over there, but just in case....A friend on myspace wants me to post old photos from the 80's and 90's into my photo album, so he can tag some of them. Anyway, I'm having a heck of a time getting a decent pic with my digital, and I cannot find my scanner. UMM, what could I be doing wrong. I had my ceiling light on, I laid the pic on the bed, trying different colored shirts as a background. I changed the setting to portrait, and turned the flash off, cause that was just whiting out the whole pic, yet, they aren't coming out with any detail to speak of. They aren't blurry, just, BLAH, can you help?? IP: Logged |

You can use the close-up setting (the flower button). That usually helps with bluriness (which I know you're not reporting). Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you. You might be able to get Kinkos to scan them for you or something.IP: Logged |

I'm pretty good. _____________ On Thanksgiving I learned that not everyone looks at art the way I do...not even the artist in this case. I went to my roommate's parent's house for Thansgiving. They have a painting in their family room, and when thing were winding down and most of the people had gone I asked those in the room (my roommate's parents, my roommate's aunt, and my roommate) if they notice the flaws when looking at paintings like I do (in a very non-threatening, non-judgmental kind of way). My roommate's mom invited me to tell them what I was referring to. Her dad immediately thought I was going to talk about the awning above the window of the cafe in the picture. Good call, but no. The scene was a European cafe on the right hand side with a single table in the courtyard. It's overlooking the ocean in the background. In the distance you can see another city across the bay. I started with the tile on the ground. Not only did the artist not stick to scale, but the lines became awkward as your eyes moved left over the picture. The posts of the fence at the back of this patio area all showed exactly the same amount of depth on the left sides of each post, which clashed with the perspective implied by the tile lines. The courtyard table stand didn't look like it was in it's natural place. On the cafe front you could see through the window into a room that had more depth than was implied by the scale of the building. And, that back wall that you can see should have had windows in it as that was the wall facing the sea. No business in that location would be obscuring the sea view. The awning above that window was quite out of whack proportionately, and somehow the forward lantern was smaller than the one set deeper. Just an incredible amount of mistakes, and I'm quite certain that none present in the room had ever noticed. And the artist didn't notice either. That's kind of shocking to me. IP: Logged |

I think I'm the type to notice what doesn't work or is illogical before others. It kind of reads as an error in my brain. Her family responded well. Her mom's a Leo. Her dad's an Aqua. She's a Libra. I think her mom was mostly humoring me. Her dad especially liked my comment about the wall facing the sea needing a window, and I think he was impressed by the fact that I caught that the cafe's insides couldn't possibly be to scale. He asked if I knew a lot about art. I don't, and I told him that. He told me about some other painting they have in their bedroom, which is an original by a supposedly renowned painter. He said he called around to museums and galleries to see if they'd be interested in having a look at it, but none returned his call. Early when we'd got there Thursday he made a crack when my roommate was describing something that had layers..."like an onion," she said. He said, "You mean like a chicken?" His comment flew right over his wife's and his daughter's heads (I'm sure they thought he was just being weird). I was the only one to catch it, and I wasn't able to let him know until much later. He was pleased that someone had caught it. ("Layers" as in chickens "lay" eggs; they're "layers"). My roommate's told me that her family keeps hoping her and I get together. I really enjoy charming her family, but there is no way in hell I'm getting together with my roommate. IP: Logged |
