Oh, Ghani, it's you, cool, can't wait to see what you and your baby look like!!

AG, I AM Yin's evil twin, didn't you know?

What happened to your mystery FB friend, btw??

I keep getting friend requests via friend finder from women in their underwear, it's only now occured to me that they probably think I'm a guy because of Michael's picture. haha!! Dream on ladies!! He's no longer among the living.

I can't watch Zombie movies, they do scare me. I saw Randall updating on myspace that 'The Crazies' was the best scary movie he's seen in a long time. I'm thinking of seeing that this weekend.

She's still there. Changed her screen name from Cherry to Ilsa. We still don't really talk.

I tried friending an old Navy friend of mine, and still haven't heard back on that one. I'm curious as to why that is.

The ads for men on FB are ridiculous. Even the Christian singles ones have pics of huge breasted women in them.

I don't get your statement at the end. You don't do zombie movies, so you're going to go watch one? Maybe you should stick with Alice in Wonderland.

Is The Crazies a zombie movie too????

I didn't realize that. Ok, I won't see it.
As for Alice, I will see and eventually own that one, cause Johnny is in it.

That same thing happened to me, that happened with your navy friend. I requested a friend from Jersey, we went to school together. It was pending forever. Turns out, she had lost her internet service and hadn't been on. When she got it back, she accepted.

Changed her name? Cherry? hmm.

Oh, and I meant to ask you, have you been able to get on SignsAlign lately? I haven't for 3 days. When I go there, it says "error found on page" and it's just blank. No refreshing works. I was just wondering if that was still functioning or what, because my friend wanted to join.

Oh, sorry. Actually, I don't know if The Crazies is a zombie movie. I assumed it was since you were talking about zombies.

Oh, I'm not sure if I've been at SignsAlign in the last couple days. I'll have to check.

Haven't really tried today, though I did hear a song I enjoyed that employed rather simple lines. The music really does mask the inconsequential stuff.

All that boring down time at work, and I learn today that I forgot about completing a training. I did it today. It was boring as well.

Where did the snowflake go? Stop editing!

This snowflake is happy it's the weekend, but wishing she could sink into her usual Friday night bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. But, alas, it is not to be.

A lovely cup of coffee will have to do.

How is AG?

Back during the snowflake comment I was fine. I was good even. It's Friday, and pay day.

Unfortunately, I must still be tired, because everything conspired to make me cranky. I'm at lunch decompressing now. I hate when they load us up with work late in the morning, because if it had been disbursed at regular intervals throughout the morning it would have been easy and unstressful to complete by lunch. Instead, I had to get intense and focused to finish as quickly as I did. I find that inconvenient.

Dolly Parton's a Capricorn, too! I think lunch helped. Maybe I'll treat myself to a movie tonight after work. Alice in Wonderland comes out today.

The Mad Hatter is an Aquarius... :P

My step dad said "I think Johnny Depp has body dismorphic disorder because he always plays these weird looking guys".

SHOCKED that he knew of something like bdd, but I think JD chooses his roles b/c of the content, and maybe just to take away the "pretty" and be appreciated for the character. Although I HATED Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Awful remake.

He is VERY good at acting like nutter, he must draw that from somewhere?

I could look at him all day, just to assess his methods you understand.

LOL

Depp's a Gemini with a lot of Taurus influence.

All of the stuff he does with Tim Burton at this point is just because of their long standing relationship. Tim Burton loves Geminis with that kind of look. He married Helena Bonham Carter, which is about as close as you can get to a female version of Johnny Depp. He uses both of them a lot.

I agree on all counts.

I thought it was a decent remake, considering it was a remake. Though I thought it was decent for visual reasons, ... it was a highly visual movie originally. As far as storyline though, they messed with it too much. The story was great before, they shouldn't have ever fiddled with it because they just ruined it.

Johnny Depp did a fine job. It's hard to try and fill in Gene Wilder's shoes. He didn't try to be him, but instead morphed into something equally quirky, and a bit dark.

That's my fear for this version of "Alice", that they are going to have effed with the story too much.

I LOVE Helena B.C. She's so much like a doll, and yes, as close to the female version of Johnny Depp as you can get. The eyes, the intensity, and the jawline. There's something vacant about her though that I don't find vacant about him... She was pitch perfect in Fight Club, however. Whack job.

My sister informs me that a "Smurfs" remake is in the works with Neil Patrick Harris (N.P.H, dude!!). WTF??? Will this be live action?? Whaaaaa?

Alice already got bad reviews mainly because Disney's backing it and they've not really 'read the book' so to speak. It kind of sucks to know, but I'm going to go see it tomorrow and fine out

Gene Wilder i would've pegged as a Cancer. I wouldn't be surprised if he's got some in his chart.

Effing intense, that one was! Wow! Great foreshadowing. I would say that it was on par with that director's previous piece, Training Day.

I would have to agree with you, MVM. There's something very emotional about Gene Wilder. His disappearance as an actor seemed so strange, and I know I missed. I would have loved to have seen him do more. What little I've seen of him since has given me the impression that it's something deep on an emotional level that kept him from pursuing anything more.

He does have Mercury and Venus in Cancer, that might be why (I just Googled his chart lol).

Gemini/Mercury in Cancer... methinks the Sun's dispositer generally fills in the blanks or something.
