Yes, WinkAway, I've heard of and had walking pneumonia, they call it that because you are not too sick to "walk around." But it can very easily turn into pneumonia. Another HORRIBLE one is plueresy, I probably murdered that word, but it's sooooo painful, your cough sounds like a bark, and you have terrible chest and back pain. What sign is your Dad? Aqua's and Scorp's are pretty stubborn about going to the docs in my experience. Followed by (cover your ears AG) Capricorns.

I think they just all believe that stuff goes away on it's own. I don't know.

Ugg, AG, you described my Ex husband to the "T." Another Aries there. I think Aries is one sign where the men and the women are SOO different. My ex had serious anger issues, and he supressed them until they became total rages. I hope your friend gets better!

My current roommate's dad is an Aqua. We get along pretty splendidly, though he is a freak. He has a lot of privacy and weapons issues. He doesn't like the people at Costco looking at his receipt on the way out of the building. He likes to keep a knife on him as much as possible. I guess you could say he's security-oriented. That doesn't really come up between him and I, though. Being a Capricorn I'm just a young, old man, so I understand the whimsy and the rationale.

Regarding going to the doctor, I have been neglecting that in this past year, but I don't think my Virgo Moon will allow me avoid doctors overall. My body seems very vocal in telling me what's wrong.

I tend to agree that Aries men can be WAY different than Aries women.

WinkAway, did you get a friend request from me? I tried doing it from my phone, so let me know if it didn't work.

AG.. Yeay, I'll check my FB when I get home. I'm your first "fan" btw. I used to be CrimsonChlyd in way back land. My internet access here at work sucks. It usually won't let me get into anything that relates to forums, so I'm surprised it let me here.

They have some kind of internet cafe down in the lunch area but by the time I get there for break I only have around 10 minutes to play.

And speaking of my dad.. he's obsessed with guns. I don't know if it's security obsessed, but he has a very big safe in the basement that he keeps his guns in. He has some huge guns that would make Rambo blush lol. And he carries a hand gun around in a little fanny pack... plus he's extremely OCD. I think he's okay with the Costco police, but don't even joke about taking away his guns lol..

LOL.. Yep I get those too... except I'm 39... but same ad's.
Ever notice how yahoo will send junk mail out that just so happens to contain something that you had emailed someone about? Like I sent an email to some school to get information on nursing programs. Next thing I know I get a ton of spam from various schools advertising nursing programs... kinda creepy.

That is creepy. No, I just notice the ads I talked about earlier in this thread: Ads with strange, ill-fitting pictures.

Hey Ag, if you've got winkAway on your FB, could you just send me a friend suggestion next time your on? I'm only on every other day, so my fish won't die. I have 3 tanks now.

Ugg, my daughter got into this big hassle with these people against gay marriage, she's not against anything that I know of (Pisces Sun, Cancer Asc, and FIERY Aries Moon) anyway, so she sent me a group invite thingy to be an advocate for gay marriage. I did not KNOW it would pop up without my permission, that I joined a pro gay marriage group, I don't really mind, though I would of prefered to have the option to post that or not. Anyway, as soon as it popped up I got a comment from an ex customer saying, "I always knew you were a freak!" Jay-sus, what is wrong with people?

Oh, and did you guys sign the petition to not pay for FB? If you can't find it, it's on my page.

Ok, I'll try to remember to do that next time I'm on (send you the friend suggestion).

I saw the thing that posted saying that you support gay marriage. I probably even liked it. You know you can delete any of your posts from your profile page, so if something like that happens again, just delete it. You can also delete that customer's comment if you like.

I didn't get involved with any petition to keep FB free, because I don't think we're really in danger of them charging. It would be too unpopular. The key to their business paln is keeping people coming back. That's valuable for advertisers, so they should be making plenty of money I would think.

Edit: Sent the friend suggestion

UPDATE on ex-roommate: He's not supposed to survive the week. I can't help but feel it's a mercy kill on God's part. I'm sure Chris was probably ready to be done with this life.

1972 Capricorn - The Relaxed Romantic

You're a freedom-loving Capricorn born in 1972, and your relationships must be exhilarating. Friendship is the most essential dynamic in any relationship, and you always strive to know a person first as a friend before taking the involvement to the next level. A feeling that you're on the same wavelength is inspiring to you, and may be counted on to always draw you closer .

Personal freedom and independence are also vital to any good relationship. You don't want to feel tied down and you resent it when a partner attempts to tell you what to do. You feel that a good relationship allows each person to just go with the flow, to do what comes naturally (<--Love this!). That way, you're each happy as individuals while also merging as a couple. You believe in commitment and yes, you want security, but you also quite wisely feel that fulfilment may mean waiting for the partner who suits you best.

To engage your interest, a prospective partner might invite you to attend a high-tech or computer show, or an outdoor event of some sort. Cars and automobile racing may appeal to you (nope), and even if you're just spectators, it gives you the chance to witness something exciting together while holdings hands in the process. Sharing ideas is very important to you, and it's good to know tht your partner always has something interesting to say . Because of this, you can envision a tie that grows and will endure.

Male Capricorns born in 1972 like a woman who is clever and intelligent. Your girl has her own thoughts and opinions, and she loves to express them. The verve with which she does so gains her many friends and your unending interest. She has many useful skills, can probably fix your computer, and you may have met her online in a chat room.

It's ok. He's barely a friend. I moved out mostly because the bad decisions he's made were coming closer and closer to putting me in a tough situation. We couldn't keep roommates because he smoked in the house. He set up an adversarial relationship with the landlord, and kept two cats against the will of our lease. He paid rent late consistently. He would take deposits from new roommates, but then wouldn't have the money for them when they moved out. He was antagonistic with his coworkers (which lead to his getting fired shortly after I moved out).

It was an abyss he was creating that I could have fell into as well, so I'm just incredibly grateful to have gotten out before this happened. My new place is beautiful, my room's bigger, I have access to a pool, and there's no smoking or smokers in the house. Just thankful.

I think it's from Love Signs and You. I have that book. It's kinda neat and a good weapon in case of burglars... weighs about 30 lbs...

I know people like that, AG. I myself was lucky to get away when I could. Sad that it resorted to that, but we are all responsible for our own lives...

Indeed. I do feel a certain melancholy about it, but at the same time this is a person I watched suffer for years under the weight of his own personality. I wanted him to find a way out (of his sorrow), but I didn't anticipate it happening in his lifetime really. He's not dead yet, so maybe he'll recover, and if so maybe he'll find a way to engage life in a new way, but if he should die it really is his way out.

yikes.. I'm yet to get a place since it's hard to find roomies who are okay with my having a 10 yr old.

But it sounds like your ex roomie has some deep issues. It's a good thing you got out of it for your own good. One thing I've learned about being around negative people is they can be like emotional vampires. You get dragged into it so easily. Been there, done that, moved on..

Wow, that is incredibly sad, you know what? That got me thinking, every Chris that I know personally (males and females) have suffered with personal demons, I wonder if that name vibrates to a tough number or something. Well, I hope he makes it, and has some sort of awakening....

Yes, I know you can delete your stuff and other peeps stuff, but after thinking on it, I decided if she wants to post something advertising her ignorance, I'll leave it up for the world to see...I can be a tad evil that way, I blame that one on the Merc in Scorp. *grins*

So, AG, are you anticipating anything awful from the eclipse?

I just read page one of your thread, yeah, my first time with page one. You are a "Tuesdays Child" too! You know they say we are "fair of face!"

*That does sound like a cool book, btw, for reading and/or home protection. Personally, I use a baseball bat for the latter but, if you happen to be reading and not practicing your swing, well then....

Some random gorgeous woman just friended me on FB. Her profile pic doesn't really do her gorgeousness justice. It's a dour looking black and white, but when I looked at her other pics I found she's quite stunning in an understated way. Kind of odd that she friended me. Her profile does say, "The greatest achievement is selflessness," so she can't be too bad.
