A lot of Gemini rising were having a hard time due to the planets transiting 8th House. I went through a lot of emotional upheavals, friends backstabbing, betrayal etc. It was tough esp. as I've always been adversed to conflict so I felt such a relief when tSaturn left 8H... But tPluto is still there, sigh.

Oh the nodes! I am all about them! I have an empty first house. With all the 6th, 9th and 10th house transits in the past few years. I am so ready for this sense of new self focus I haven't experienced in years. Self care has been easier. More times to just do things for me and not for the sake of growth, survival paying bills, proving myself, validation, grades, and evaluation.
I really feel like it's my time to step up with a crown on my head after being a new teaching while earning my bachelors degree. Very much a hard work pays off time in my life. I started cleaning and working out more. I lost this part of my life 3 years ago. I feel like I am getting my life back. For me it's an overdue life focus. I am glad I can experience this energy longer than a Sun or moon transit.

I think it helps that I have no Virgo or Sagittarius in my chart. Pisces Venus is 6 degrees. That is really it with mutable in my chart.

I never put much thought into my s. node

8th house...in Capricorn season my drive has been higher even with my fiancé being out of state. It feels tedious sorting out finances like health insurance. I get so peeved dealing with figuring it out in my free time. I am so excited to be one of those teachers who says "I don't deal with that, I'm just on my husbands." Capricorn in the middle degrees is typically peaceful, it only gets trying for me with my 04 degree Jupiter Cancer and 22 degree Aries Sun.

You know what's weird? My 8th house is really small. I don't know why that is. My 8th house is 3 degrees Capricorn-22 degrees Capricorn!
Oh man I experienced part of this transit in HS so the backstabbing was prominent for sure. I certainly have had calling outs with friends. But mostly in my early adulthood. In my mid 20's I've had to tell friends off, not talk for two months. I had to grow and not be a backstabbing friend myself in some situations. I had a group turn on me for dating a guy in the group.
I even had a friend's ex boyfriend ask me out! (I said no to that forbidden fruit) But that friend just happens to not invite me to anything anymore, and I have not ever met her new boyfriend. Not saying that's the reason but I sometimes wonder.

Worst I deal with these days...is having a friend that became obsessed with me. I actually just got off the phone with her. I see the normal side of her I use to know...but then I also see a new insecure side of her that is down right annoying.

I establish boundaries right off the bat like "I can talk for a half hour." My timer goes off. I say I got to go. After that I was like "wow that was pretty normal!"
Nope even though I tell her I need to go, she still feels the need to text me and ask me questions. It's creepy.

It looks like Pluto will be in 9th house for good for a while now.

I didn’t feel anything when tNN entered Gemini but lately, yes, when tNodes touched my Venus-Moon opposition. I’m suddenly feeling lost and worried about my life and emotionally detached, less willing to resolve conflicts with my guy, like I just wanna move on...so I’m glad he is more proactive. What’s also irritating me somewhat is this guy friend who’s getting too close for comfort. He’s an otherwise nice person and we get along great, just a bit touchy and too close. I told him off before, that I only treat him as a friend and his behaviour is making both me and my guy uncomfortable but he ignores me and says he likes me, but I hate it when people insist on one-sided affection like this.

I’ve natal South Node at 1deg Gemini. An astrologer told me the reversed nodal return will change my life for the better starting with a career switch.🤔 tJupiter entering 10H will also be a fantastic period for work. I really hope he’s right as 2020 had been terrible for me in terms of work. Did you check your transits based on whole signs? Some people said it’s more accurate.

Ah it looks like the nodes where still in Cancer and Capricorn when he popped the question. 2020 was the year of too much Capricorn! I couldn't really start planning my wedding until the nodes moved into to Gemini and Sagittarius.

Nah I really don't use whole signs too often when it comes to checking personal transits. But I will say it can be tedious to pay attention where houses begin and end. I do not have it memorized like my natal planets yet. The change can sneak up on me and be confusing. But I am probably using whole signs when I am reading my horoscope.

That's so cool that you saw a professional astrologer. And that is so interesting about nodes transiting nodal opposites in a chart.(I have Leo s. node and Aqua n.node)

One of my friends with Gemini Moon and Venus got engaged at Christmas. Her fiancé is a Gemini Venus too. (they met at law school in 2011) They also have a kid together who is 4 now.

My other friend with Gemini rising and Venus was dating 3 guys at the same time and didn't like it. He has it narrowed down to 2 of the guys now, but is nervous of ending it with the 1st he met because he seems fragile.

Yeah that stinks when a guy friend does that. I had one that messaged me he didn't care that I was in a relationship and wanting to bang. I haven't spoke to him since. But we were friends for 7 years. I've ignored his messages afterwards.

I wont deny that it has crossed my mind. She is married. But if living in these times has taught me anything, its that sexuality is a spectrum. She has made jokes like she is going to get so drunk and make out with me, back when we use to go out with two other girls.

I think part of it too is that her mother is verbally abusive to her. And I've been there to tell her that it's not right for her mom to talk to her like that. I feel like I give her like some sort of dopamine rush. She also is not close with her older sister too, and that p!sses me off. Because I am close with my older sister no matter what kind of phase I was going through in my life, and has always been there for me.

But yes sometimes I get mad like "why isn't her sister helping her!?" My sister had to be honest with me if I was talking about my problems way too much and going on so much about my self. Give me social pointers and advice.

She use to have to call me if basically anything happened in her day. To the point of my inner monologue going "oh my God, get a friggin diary or something!"

Once in a while we can call a friend more than once or be on the phone over an hour...but once it happened to us, its like it became an expectation!
But yeah the amount of attention she needs it's like I am already in a relationship, and have a family life. It was to the point where I felt like I was neglecting other friends I liked better because she took so much attention. I'm the kind of person who always answers the phone if physically able too. But a few months into her getting weird I finally started to just let it ring to my voicemail. Like sometimes she makes me feel like a dude that is trying to get rid of a crazy chick. lol It does make me feel cold hearted sometimes. It's weird when you feel like you need to "dump" a friend.

I've been doing like what some bosses do cutting someone's hours to the point of forcing someone to quit. Is there a name for that? I feel like this is better than just pulling the rug underneath.

Oh cool so when N. node was in Leo 2017-18 it was a turning point for escaping the worst job I've ever had. I knew I did not like it as a forever job. I had the mind set of I'll just deal with it, I wont be here long anyways. But surprise surprise boyfriend(now fiancé) wasn't ready because he wanted to try college again to be a trophy child for his middle class mom.
So much happened at this job....November 2017 was the turning point for me of: I can't wait for my boyfriend to be ready he is taking too long, I need to get a new job now. If I waited to move I would still be there. It took so much to get to that point to change my plans.
Feb 2018 I took time to job hunt
March I had a job interview...I took a sick day to interview. (I say that like I had paid sick days there) The employer kept trying to contact me while I was working. She finally got a hold of me to tell me I didn't get the job. (I really think she was going to...but since she couldn't ever get a hold of me she had a change of heart and just had the assistant teacher take over leading the class. It was pretty soul crushing.
But then this was the month I decided to go for my bachelors and contacted the college, and set my self up to start that summer.
I told school of nightmare job that I wont do summer camp because I would care give for grandma(kind of true) plus college.

Last night I had a dream, I feel it was a healing dream. I have been engaging in Mudra poses to balance out my chakras lately and I feel the dream was a healing manifestation of that. The Mudra pose I have been doing is this:

Sacral Chakra, Water Element

This lady and I were driving around in a car, she was driving and giving me a tour of this neighborhood, it was a nice neighborhood, middle to middle high class. She then took me to this area with horses and people were on the horses. There was this feeling that it was good the people were on the horses riding them, that it was good for the horses.

She dropped me off in this spot. I was then mounting a horse and we had this immediate powerful connection, the horse and I felt a very strong affection for one another, it was very sweet.

I think this dream was about reconnecting with lost parts me maybe (soul retrieval) and balancing out my root chakra, sacral chakra and solar plexus evidenced by me mounting the horse and having this immediate strong loving connection with it.

While I was having the dream the Moon was in Gemini at 16 degrees approaching my Northnode in Gemini at 19 degrees and Tr Northnode at 19 degrees with Tr neptune on my moon squaring the nodes.

Sun in Virgo at 28
Alma in Taurus at 28
Transit ALMA in Capricorn at 26

Alma means soul in Spanish.

Maybe it was a soul retrieval dream and about balancing out my root, sacral and solar plexus chakras. Healing dream.

Anyway, I believe partly is also you're kinda like her support system and she feels better talking to you...maybe you reaffirm her feelings. This over reliance is like a drug to her now.

It's bad if you feel that you have to "miss" her calls on purpose. Have you tried telling her about this, that you need some space as this is too suffocating for you?

Yeah and this is what I'm avoiding, to be seen as overly dramatic by cutting him off entirely. Tbh he isn't a bad person and we get along great as well so cutting down the hours is the only way I can think of.

My Libra assistant last year said she had something similar where a friend would always call her to talk about her woes. She said she just stopped picking up her phone and that resolved that.

But that did not work with my friend. One day I tried that and she tried my phone 9 times. !!!!!

April 2020 was an all time high. There was a sense of entitlement because my school closed down. That I'm just home by myself, so what is my excuse? I kind of had to set her straight on that. (her center was closed down that month finally by then. So yikes.) I was tactful but I'm sure the tone was there. I felt super on edge for days. I felt like when I wasn't talking to her she was just waiting to talk to me again and did not want to do anything else. It really felt like all she wanted to do was talk to me on the phone all the time. She also text me pretty much inquiring what I am doing or what am I about to do?

I talked to my other good friend about it and he gave me the advice to ask to only talk a few days a week.

She asked me how I was doing and I came clean and said. "Do you mind only talking on the phone a few days a week? I am starting to feel way too glued to my phone and I want to disconnect from it a little bit more." She said "Oh yeah, I was actually thinking the same thing."

Shifting to college to Covid teaching in August 2020 I had to cut a call short with her because my boss rang me. Then I had to do some work from home. I just said I had to get going because of that. With no promises of talking later. Saying I was in a mood that month was an understatement I felt spread thin and driven up a wall by a lot of things and people. So she rang and I didn't pick up, then rang again that was enough! I text to please stop calling my phone if I don't pick up. If I don't pick up, that means I can't talk and I will call back when I can talk. I got "no problem" texts.

Last weekend I said that I really only have long talks with my other friends every other week and that that is better for me. She expressed being on board.

She sees a therapist, but who knows if her therapist knows how overbearing she can get.

I'm open minded but I am starting to feel like this is running its course. It's been going well the times I have been upfront, but I try to be careful with how I say it. It took me over a year to say anything in the first place.

My class drove me nuts today. I kind of expect it with my Tuesday/Thursday class. I had a student cry at the end of the day because I wrote her last name in her hat and not her first name.

When my assistant leaves at 1pm. I am so jealous of her freedom. After that I am doing a count down to their naptime.

On days like that I either text fiancé, sister or friend on how crazy they are making me feel with out judgement. I told fiancé today that I just can't with these kids today "they are all up my butt and act like Caillou."

I have started two new shows this week though, I am enjoying the queen's gambit and the rookie, maybe that is something positive about mercury in Aquarius bc I been basically on a show diet for a long time and then all of a sudden my husband started to hunt down new shows for us to watch and both I like and nobody is wearing masks so I can actually relax and enjoy myself watching the shows.

On a different note Transit asteroid Biblialexa is conjuncting my AC and I felt this strong motivation today to research Continuing education classes as I have to do that every year now to maintain my license and then was looking into books to read related to the class that caught my attention which led to this other book that caught my attention. I need to get into the habit of reading books more so I felt there must be something astrologically to explain this sudden inspiration and motivation today to delve into books and to decide what training to sign up for, I am going to take a training on somatic psychotherapy I have decided which is part of a program to obtain a certification on gestalt interventions.

Astrologically, Biblialexa seems to indicate reading, writing, books, libraries or archives; well-read, reading books, bookish, "read the ******* manual," need to "hit the books."

DLs are heavy/intense. Attacks from others (dark energy) has spiked. Past energies (others) been returning.
Trying to balance within. My previous leg issue is correcting, that's good though!

Going to get my fill on Chakra healing, meditation and self care. So many secrets might be surfacing between now +6months.
