I feel like I am starting to hate my life a little less each day. I am starting to vape less too. Wondering if this Taurus conjunction will be a great reset for my mental health. That's how it's been playing out so far. I've had a lot of set backs since last year. It has really screwed me up on psychological level. Something about doing everything right and following all the rules to just have things go wrong and have key people not care.

I have been staying up later. But not as late as my husband's night shift hours. I took sleeping medicine at midnight. And usually I can sleep while my husband stays up. But last night he had ADHD fidgety foot. I tried ignoring it, until I couldn't! "Can you make your foot stop doing THAT!?" And then he just straight up sat on my foot a few times. The second time I was like "how do you not know that you are sitting on my FOOT!?"
Then I was just anticipating him annoying me, so I got a drink from the fridge.

I still can't smell or taste much, and it's unsettling. I'm hoping that will change, when the head cold symptoms stop for good. I've heard some bad things about people having trouble with things tasting or smelling like petrol. I really didn't want to deal with this **** .

Our AC hasn't worked in days. It's been in the 90's-100's where we are staying. Its so hot I can't sleep at night. I loved when it's 75-80 degrees. So you know it's bad when I have a wet paper towel on my forehead.

So I am between rooms. It will get fixed tomorrow morning.

I get how this has manifested. There is this show called "Elite" that I got hectically obsessed with. I mean OBSESSED. Infact, I will extend that feeling of obsession to most of the Netflix shows like "Young Royals" , "Bridgerton" etc.

Its not like these shows are OUTSTANDINGLY flawless. They are good and appropriately tailored for the targeted audience. Sure.

But with Mercury/Pluto aspects,the mind is often looking for something to be FIXATED over. This to a point where it breaks apart(Plu)the object of attention into little segments and looks at it over and over and over again etc.

I don't know how many times i have watched these shows. Then gone over to YouTube to read reviews & comments.Then catch "behind the scenes" footage. I mean.. 🙆🏿‍♂️. Come on already.

The difficult part is disengaging once you've started. Its the continual breakdown of the target of obsession that causes the destruction.

I still stand by what I said i.e. Pluto is excretion & waste. Pluto is the process of breaking down the food in your belly, absorbing the nutrients. Then excreting the "unusable".

Hence Pluto's association with the rectum,the colon, the sexual organs through which we pee, take a dunk and women excrete fluids during the menstrual cycle etc.

So my thinking is that I am watching all of these shows to "catch" the magic they have. Or to understand how to engage an audience into a storyline etc. And once that is completed. The detachment will quickly replace the preoccupation.

I'm worried about mars in gemini, because it hits my moon, venus and south node, squares mars in the 4th, and goes through my 8th house. I don't need astrology adding to my stresses. I feel like its not something I am controlling tbh. It's like something that is happening outside my conscious regulation of the energy. This because it's incredibly obsessive in essence. Not always a good thing.

Take for instance the current transit of Mercury in Virgo. I NEVER plan my life around transit. But I do notice that when an event is cancelled/delayed, the transits of that set date are usually uneventful when relating yo my natal chart. Coincidence? I don't know.

But my family thinks me "weird" when I tell them that a planned event is unlikely to take place on the day set(when comparing that day to my natal chart).But postponed to later. And then it is ☝🏿

Take for instance the upcoming trip I have booked. I am taking this trip in anticipation of an event happening on the 13th of August.

But on the 10th(booked travel date), transiting Mercury is tightly square my natal Uranus.And parallel my natal Asc🙆🏿‍♂️

Like WTF? I didn't look at transits when deciding on the travel date. But I think the universe opens pockets of event timing between certain days as compared to your respective natal chart. Then you "coincidentally" choose those dates instinctively? I can't explain it.

Mom gave birth to me when transiting Moon was parallel her natal Mars. And then my Asc happened to be contra-parallel her natal progressed Moon.

No, please: make a joke about my mask, in the middle of a busy grocery store, when I'm exhausted, have barely slept, am just finally getting over covid for the first time. When I spent the anniversary of my mother's death, sleeping off a fever, thinking I was okay, but also aware of everything that covid can do a body, including a vaccinated one, because of the variants that are out there, thanks to everyone who didn't give a crap.

Maybe moon conjunct neptune protected me from being that lady having to defend mask usage to an ******* , ending up on youtube. I've had a bit of chest pain, and also a pain in my lower-left abdomen, that was never there with the vaccine, but has been, since I've been coughing like mad.
